The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is proud to announce a new opportunity for schools to engage with our programming and earn a distinguished designation. The AGFC School of Conservation Leadership is a designation that an individual school can earn. This designation can be earned by any public, private, charter, or early childhood school in the state of Arkansas.
The Education Division of the AGFC is offering this opportunity to individual schools through consistent support and implementation of the following goals:
Increase participation in all programming that AGFC provides
- Increase conservation education, outdoor learning, and outdoor recreation opportunities for students in Arkansas
- Bring awareness to the role AGFC plays in the Outreach and Commitment to Arkansans through conservation education
- Increase awareness of AGFC careers through the development of the next generation of conservation professionals
- Recognize schools that are doing this well, create model/mentor schools within the state
