2024 AAEA Summer Conference

Do you want to learn how to collaborate and create crucial relationships between traditional schools and ALEs to best serve students? Join us while we review Arkansas state guidelines for Alternative Education and how traditional schools can partner with ALEs for smooth transitions for students. You will walk away with templates for documentation needed at traditional schools before submitting referrals, the referral application process, entry meetings, data documentation while students are enrolled in ALEs, how to keep traditional schools informed about student progress, exit meetings, and how to support students when they return to the traditional school setting. Each of these components need input and collaboration between the traditional school and ALE to set the child up for success!
